New Patient Information
New patients are warmly welcomed to Saks Dental Studio Allen
. We recognize that going to the dentist can be intimidating for some people, so we make it a priority to ensure your comfort during your initial visit. Our dedicated team will assist you every step of the way, ensuring that you are well-informed about the process. When you schedule your appointment, our welcoming front desk staff will provide you with all the necessary information we need from you.
Before The Visit
To ensure a smooth first visit, we kindly request that you complete the health history information and provide us with your insurance details at least 48 hours prior to your appointment. You can easily do so by clicking on the provided link.
Our typical new patient appointment usually lasts between 60 to 90 minutes.
If you require any special accommodations during your visit, please inform us in advance.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding your upcoming visit, please feel free to inform our front desk team. If you have specific concerns that you would like to discuss with the doctor before your appointment, our doctors will be happy to speak with you over the phone.
Please remember to bring a list of your medications to your visit.
If you are pregnant, taking blood thinners, or have any health conditions that may require premedication before your appointment (such as a history of infective endocarditis, artificial heart valves, artificial joints, severely immunocompromised, etc.), please let us know ahead of time. This will allow us to obtain clearance from your physician if needed.
No need to worry if you don't have dental insurance, as we can still accommodate you.
We also provide alternative options like Inhouse membership plans or care credit to make the treatment more affordable for you.
If you have already filled out your new patient forms online, please arrive at least 10 minutes before your appointment. If you haven't completed the forms online, please arrive at least 20 minutes early and make sure you have all the necessary information to complete the required forms in time.

During The Visit
Upon your arrival at our office, a team member will be waiting for you at the front desk to warmly welcome you and provide you with the necessary forms.
To ensure your comfort during your visit, we have a waiting area equipped with water, coffee, and magazines. Additionally, we offer blankets and pillows in our treatment rooms. If you would like to avail any of these amenities, please inform us and we will be more than happy to accommodate your request.
Once you have completed the forms, one of our hygienists will guide you to one of our hygiene rooms. They will inquire about any concerns you may have and proceed with X-rays, gum pocket measurements, and capturing images of your teeth. This will allow you to have a comprehensive understanding of your oral health, just as we do.
Following this, one of our doctors will examine your teeth, taking into consideration your concerns, the results of the clinical examination, X-rays, and gum measurements. Based on this information, she will provide her recommendations and create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your specific needs.
If it is determined that you require a regular cleaning, we can take care of it on the same day. However, if a more extensive cleaning is necessary, we can either proceed with it on the same day or schedule it for a later date, depending on your convenience and our availability.
At the end of your appointment, our Financial or Scheduling Coordinator will present you with a treatment plan and address any financial concerns or questions you may have. They will also schedule your next appointment at a time that suits your schedule.
